Levels of Play

By default T-ball age group will be league ages 4-6 years.  There is no tryout for this division but if you think you kid is ready to play in Minor B division then you will need to bring him/her for tryouts.

T-Ball

The T-Ball Division is for boys and girls 4 to 6 years old and some 7 year olds who have never played baseball before and are not ready for coach/player pitching.  In T-Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of T-Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.

Minor B

Minor B is for boys and girls ages 7-10. The Minor B Division is considered an instructional and non-competitive division within our league.  No standings are kept in Minor B and all players are encouraged to play multiple positions.  Players must attend a tryout and teams are formed through an informal draft.  Requests to be on a specific team are honored only to the extent possible. This is a player/coach pitch level where coach only pitches after four balls have already been pitched by the pitcher.  Walks (base on balls) are not awarded at this level.  The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.

Minors A

This division is for boys and girls ages 9-11 who are playing at a more experienced level. This is a player pitch only level, and the batter can be rewarded a base on balls (walk) on a four ball count from the pitcher. This level participates in post season tournament play. Rosters may be composed of between 12 and 15 players. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.

Majors

The Majors Division is for boys and girls ages 10-12. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.

Intermediate (50/70)

The Intermediate (50/70) division is for players league-age 11-13 with postseason tournament opportunities, including a World Series. This division offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior/Big League field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths).  This is the only division where players are permitted to play in multiple divisions.  For example, Major players ages 11 and 12 may play in both Majors and Intermediate.  Formation of the Intermediate team, if there is only one team, is determined based on tryouts alone.  If more than one team, then it will be based on tryouts and a draft.

Juniors

The Junior Division is a program for boys and girls ages 13-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.

Seniors

The Seniors Division is for boys and girls 14-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.

Challenger

The Challenger Division enables boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities, ages 4-22 or the completion of high school, to enjoy the game of baseball.
